i buy this stone and it arrive in coarse surface.....maybe finished with grinder? to sharpen knife or straight razor to an extremely fine razor edge need to lap this stone with w/d paper....over all the polish is not perfect mirror but it does polish to near mirror polish.The hardness is hard but not hard to lap.For pocket knife this stone gonna put razor edge on your blade.Between i want to know where this stone is quarry :D
